Come On Mission With Me

On Mission With Marissa is an invitation for you to come on mission with me. Through prayer, financial support, and partnership. Through your giving our reach goes further into this world to see transformed lives by the love of Jesus Christ.  

I am currently serving as the Assistant Missions Director for Global Passion Ministries. We are a non-profit organization that sends people on short term mission’s trips around the world. Global Passion exists to simply send people where tourist never go and watch as God makes missionaries out of them.

I am the exact result of Global Passion Ministries.

When I was 17 years I went to Managua, Nicaragua on a missions trip. You really find out how Jesus is not American, He isn't exclusive, or singular to my culture. I gave my testimony during a large rowdy church service under a rain-soaked tent. Speaking in front of hundreds of strangers with an interpreter is one thing but to articulate your very own story is something entirely different.

It was life changing. I just didn't know it yet.

Fast forward to the summer of 2017, I was in Kolkata, India interning for a home of girls rescued from trafficking. I heard plain and simply God tell me to "dream impossibly". My first thought was, "well it would be quite impossible to imagine myself being a missionary Lord”.
Aaaaaaaaand here I am today, serving as a domestic missionary with Global Passion.

As a domestic missionary I live in lovely Napa, CA, but I lead and organize short term mission’s trip every summer.In order for this to be a reality, I need donors.  I believe God's still calling people to go into all the world and we feel called to send them.
