Hello there! I riffling through past pictures from earlier this year or better known as an ion ago. I am sure your 2020, like mine, has transpired shall we say differently than we thought. Still, when I see this picture of me standing in the ancient Alicante, Spain only a few months ago I am hopeful that New Doors are possible.
My new friend and amazing tour guide, Agus was determined to show me ever sight in my day and half I had in Alicante. Oh man, did she deliver. We came through this area called Santa Cruz. However, this town reminded me nothing of my California beaches and boardwalk I grew up with. Santa Cruz was the first town establish in the city of Alicante, it's the heart of the city. The architecture is rich, the stone work unique, and the streets wonky and wonderful. Today these building serve as the local government building,or what you and I would call City Hall. It was absolutely beautiful. Just being there you feel like you are participating in history. This Door, represents to me the New Doors I saw opening before my very own eyes. This city was not just a beautiful place to be, it was becoming a reality of the place God as calling me to go to. It reminds me that Gods Doors are always way more beautiful, extravagant, large, and labor intensive to open. All of this has been true for my story getting to Spain. What Doors has God revealed to you about your life? Are there any Doors you have closed but should be open? Are there any Doors that you are trying to open but won't? God is the one"who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens." Revelation 3:7 All the Best, Marissa
